Lisbon Conference Discusses Revolutions and Democracy

Dr Paul Flather delivered a talk on State of democracy in India at the recent Estoril Political Forum run by the IEP of the Catholica University in Lisbon, in its 28 the edition, in a packed session which also discussed the state of democracy in fellow BRIC member, Brazil. He reviewed the recent election results which were being announced as he spoke and about the trends of back-sliding apparent in India over the past 10 years.
