I was a key participant in the "Crossing Borders - Polycrisis Conference," an integral part of the "Crossing Borders - Strengthening Europe" project. The conference, held in December 2023, gathered experts from academia, education, and civil society to address the pressing issues of our time and develop a unified set of democratic values in response to the current polycrisis. After stepping down as Chair of the Oxford Adam von Trott Memorial committee after four years last year, I have recount on his legacy and on the committee's recent work, in an article for the Balliol College's Record annual.  You can enjoy a memoir here "Opposing Hitler: Remembering Adam von Trott" , who studied first at Mansfield College, where the committee is based and where I was a Fellow for some 20 years, and was then a Rhodes Scholar in 1931-33.
